Will a Radical Faerie Sanctuary ever come together on thee Islands???
This has been a collective dream for the few faerie residents that live on the Hawaiian islands, having a magical sustainable land for the gathering ov radical faeries and such....There has been talk about land avialable for such projects but who is actually spearheading this??? The faeries have been my family and community for a number ov years now. Since i moved to the Hawaiian Islands i always thought it would bee the perfect place to have faerie land....I am putting this spell out there now in written form as my last attempt to manifest this reality before i leave the islands ov hawaii....

We got to just figure something out.
Like how much to pitch in or at leased where to pitch in.
We could make a sub non profit off another non profit.
We could just borrow land to buy. They are called morgages. I believe. it might take some more time, even years but it is going to be. We have the keys, the intentions, and the knowhows.
i hope some one is just gonna give me a half acre to play with. Like for a dollar.
Hopes and dreams can do a lot of majical things.

Mon, October 24, 2005 - 3:21 PMI'm coming to Maui Dec. 25 to Jan. 2, and I'm coming to Hilo Jan. 2-5. I want to meet new friends and explore the possibility of living in a substainable community. I want to learn more about the Radical Faeries plans for building a sanctuary in Hawaii. My family founded the Love's Bakery in Honolulu in 1851, and I may return to Hawaii too. -

there isn't a sanctuary here on bigisland yet.. and as far as i know no one is really spearheading this project...however there is Kalani has a large gay/ faerie community...it is a resort, quite lovely...with dance/art events, yoga and other classes...
and on maui, there's actually a gay club with drag performances....woo-hoo! called Hapa's on tuesday night..it's Fabulous night and Little beach in kihie on Sunday is a good place to meet people...the far right hand side ov the beach is the queer section....ha ha!! -

after i graduate from school here in victoria, british columbia (dec. '05) i was thinking of attending the maui therapeutic massage school for one year beginning in either march or september in 2006. i was hoping there would be some sort of faerie energy over there - the lack of that in victoria, (where i have lived the past 4 years) makes me want to relocate. i am trying to find the balance between wanting to live in a location where i have a greater likelihood of meeting someone, or living somewhere because i want to, and trusting that the universe will provide me with what i need, when i need it. hmmm. my eternal dilemma of making things happen, and allowing things to happen... has anyone taken the massage program in maui?

as for the faeries it depends on your point of veiw and age. there are many gay men . many professionals etc. there are some beautiful faeries of all kinds. i know some boys have left maui to look for love elsewhere; only to return. the beauty here is inspiring and it's hard to stay away. as for the big island. there are probably more "radical faeries"there than on maui, but the big island is four times as big; with the same population as maui. so the finding is harder at first.. and as unbelievable as it sounds.Not all the gay men know each other. so there is always a possibility of meeting someone new.
